Avaz - a touchscreen device that can be used by people who are unable to speak has been Nationally recognized by the Govt of India. Developed by Invention Labs, Chennai, India is a portable touch screen device whose software is developed in Qt. More after the jump.
"National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2010" for the category "Applied Research / Innovation / Product Development aimed at improving the life of Persons with Disabilities" which one of the awards was rewarded to Invention Labs for their product Avaz on 3rd of Dec 2010.
